MMAG - Zohar Committee

Employees of the nuclear centers, the Dimona Nuclear Research Institute and the Nahal Sorek Nuclear Research Center, who worked and fell ill with a malignant disease, are entitled to submit a claim to the Zohar Committee, which will examine their eligibility and the amount of compensation they are entitled to. The Zohar Committee was established on the recommendation of the Rivlin Committee, a committee that was established on the basis of a decision by the Minister of Justice, Tzipi Livni, headed by the Honorable retired Justice Eliezer Rivlin.

The Zohar Committee was established in response to the need to create a unique, fast and effective compensation mechanism. The goal is to provide fast and effective compensation to nuclear workers who contributed to the security of the State of Israel and to nuclear research and development.
